The Practice started in September 1983 when Paul Seaton set up his own Firm in small offices in Elizabeth Street, Corby using the name Paul Seaton and Company. The Practice became successful offering a friendly, efficient, and quality legal service. |
| In 1989 the Practice agreed to take over and merge with another Corby Practice, Walford and Co., and moved into its present offices of 1 Alexandra Road, Corby, Northants. |
| In 1993 Paul Seaton and Adrian Chambers entered into Partnership together. |

In 1994 the Practice developed a full Practice Management System fairly close to BS-EN-ISO-9001 Standards. |
| In 1996 the Practice obtained a Legal Aid Franchise. |
| In 1997 the Practice changed its name to Seatons. The practice also joined the Claims Direct Panel. |
| In 1998 the practice set up an Internet Site |
